The “Luther and Nina Brewer Memorial Scholarship” was established in March 2004 to honor and remember Luther and Nina’s life long commitment to young people and the value of education.

The Scholarship is a $1,000 a year, non-renewable gift and shall be administered by Germantown United Methodist Church.

            Applicants shall:

 ·         Demonstrate financial need

·         Be an active member of Germantown United Methodist Church or Church Youth Group

·         Have a 2.5 or better grade point average

·         Be pursuing education beyond high school, toward a degree or certification

Applications shall be submitted by May 20^th to the Germantown United Methodist Church office for review by the church appointed selection committee. Notification will be given before graduation in June. The awarded Scholarship shall be paid directly to the school upon enrollment.  Click here to download an application form.
